Fairway Solitaire: Addicting
Here’s a game I haven’t been able to stop playing for the past week: Fairway Solitaire by Big Fish Games. To realize just how much fun this game is, consider two things: I don’t like golf, and I don’t like solitaire games. But I love this game.
It has really cute graphics (as you can see from the screenshot above), and is challenging enough to make me want to get to the next level, but easy enough so that I don’t necessarily feel that the rewards are out of my reach.
Speaking of rewards, aside from winning money you get to unlock certain special objects in the Golf Shop: we’re talking shirts that give you extra mulligans, and x-ray glasses that let you see what the next card in the deck will be.
But perhaps the best thing about this game is how quickly it runs. I play the Mac version on my two year old Macbook, and it’s blazingly fast.
