New Super Mario Bros.: best. game. ever.
Yes, I feel that I’ve played enough DS games to make this claim: New Super Mario Bros. is the best DS game ever. It’s what I keep coming back to, every day, several times a day, trying to get all those giant coins and perfect my ground pounds. If I could only own one DS game, this would be it.

Despite it’s absolute cuteness, this isn’t an easy game- unless you’re a master of hand-eye coordination and timing, expect to fall more than a few times. For help, here are two of my favorite walkthroughs over at GameFAQs:
- FAQ/Walkthrough by Devin Morgan - well-written and easy to understand, and
- Alternate (Hidden) Exits Guide by Douggie AKA CyphR.
There are some things I wish were different about the game: flying, for example, and having Yoshi around. But the truth is that this game just rocks.
